A crash course in changing the world.
One of the most amazing and creative ideas that I heard, and would like to share, came from London:
here is the scoop and the link, then my comments:
The River Thames was turned into a carpet of yellow plastic on Sunday, as 20,000 rubber ducks were raced down the waterway in London.
The bath time toys, wearing sungla****, were released at Battersea Park for the Great London Duck race.
But things didn't go to plan in the event, which raised cash for an old people's home, as a strong tide washed half the ducks off-course.
The winning duck, number 335, crossed the finish line in half an hour.
People could adopt the ducks for £10, and prizes included a luxury holiday to Egypt, and £4,000 worth of diamonds.
The organisers hope they've raised thousands of pounds for Nightingale House, a care home in Clapham, south-west London.

This is an idea idea to use for water awareness. However:
- one can use bio-degradable or environmentally friendly gadgets
- organize this in rivers in many countries at the same time
- create appropriate competition rules / prices
