Evoke, next season...
To me, the most important issue in the world to solve is climate change. Although there will still be social justice issues, if climate change is much less of an issue, there would be less poverty, better economics, less war over resources, more access to basic needs, and more love :D During the next season of EVOKE (which I am already dying to sign up for after this one), I would like people to be more aware of climate change and the effects it is having and be provided with suggestions and missions that have do do with saving the planet. Although people all around the world should know about the issues facing the world today that deal with climate change, I think that the next season should target industrial countries and educate their citizens about what they can do to make the world a better place and decrease their carbon footprints. I would want anyone who does not believe in climate change and people who don't already do as much as they can to help (which should be everyone actually) to sign up. Although the next season would have a slightly different focus, I would love for the setup to be the same, maybe adding a bit more action somehow as well, such as videos that come out each week dealing with the issues being addressed in addition to a graphic "novel." I love the way EVOKE is set up now, especially that I can work at my own pace, so it doesn't get in the way of school or my family or friends.
For a third season (getting a bit ahead of myself here) I would love for there to be something about social justice issues. This season addresses some of that, but something more focused around discrimination would be wonderful.
I would be thrilled if there was a second season of Urgent Evoke. I have learned so much from this one and I don't think I will ever forget it. I hope that my blogs and the site stay up, even if people cannot add to them because I want my opinions to be heard. Saving my planet is extremely important. The knowledge I have gained from this season will help me with the rest of my life.
