Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Follow ON- Thank you Evoke - Team Post - Facebook Group Made

Hi Everyone,

After many posts and especially one on Sustainable Food project teaching locally, creating gardens locally and making it real and my post on wanting to make teams after these 10 weeks finish with us Agents really making live projects happen locally or globally. I have created a facebook group to start this off to make something sustainable (ironic) as we talk about it in so many posts.

Writing a mail to EVOKE team to see if they will allow a way of still accessing all the clogs we've posted on this site to be exsistant and accessible even just readable after 10weeks so we lose nothing shared, written, etc.

But yeah I am being very serious when I say I have not created this facebook group for anyone not really wanting to do something proactively or be involved really in real world after 10weeks so if it just these 10weeks for you please don't join.

If you share my vision though that we can make real projects happen, start tracing them, updating them and continueing knowledge to make teams locally and globally to influence others to change for a better future please join the group. I have not made it entirely public, i.e I currently as administrator have to accept member requests. I've done this because we don't want a bunch of jokers from facebook who just want to be part of 10,000 groups for sake of it joining, I want it to be something real.

Facebook Group name: EVOKE Forever

I'll currently be administrator, but think whomever joins we'll start a forum and decide together or democratically who we want having certain admin rights, etc and responsibilities to make it work best. To find me on facebook my name is: Radhika Darbari, the only one as I am aware so shouldn't be hard. Just add me.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Delta-team ning.com network been created, please message Panamerica your e-mail..we are working on Open search, apply, accept system rather than invitation only...please work with us at the moment.

My twitter name: TenderHot

Great suggestion by Agent Sayel (Thank you):
- Multiplatforms
- Facebook and twitter for promotion of evoke activities and ning as a discussion place?

Summary purpose to extent:
1.- Keep discussions going on so we can all learn from each other's experience and get feedback for our own ideas
2.- Have a decentralized data base of great information (as some great posts and videos do right now)
3.- Use 1 & 2 to promote real life projects (maybe tho smaller topic oriented sub-networks or groups)

''I know the best will emerge from this and a facebook group is a great first step. I just wanted to put my thoughts here and hear some feedback =)''

Please all feedback, join one of these networks, all preferably and we can start properly creating. In regards to not seeing much currently in these groups is I and Panamericana do not want to start creating a disorganised format we will regret later. We want people to join and as a team make best decisions on organisation of network.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

UPDATE:

Ning.com does not allow apply and accept feature of members to a network. - so we are stuck and has to be by invitation and done as being done.

Therefore I have been reading an interesting article:

http://techcrunch.com/2007/07/24/9-ways-to-build-your-own-social-ne...

And therefore thinking maybe we need different platform. Will look into these all over weekend and get back to you all. Any tech wizards please input on other options. I have a number I.T geek friends so will get them to help me out and figure a complete plan out over weekend and so by Monday morning have blog posted of structure, place of decided platform.

If remains ning.com seems best platform please accept invitation only. I apologise can't adjust it.

Till then please continue to join facebook group and Ning.com network as then will know exactly who in and keep informed.

Thanks!

Agent Radhika

you truly deserve a +1 for enabling collaboration beyond Evoke.

Well, I don't do Face book at the moment but then good luck to everyone. My best wishes. Cheers to collaboration:)

Hey Radz I joined the fb group, hope some good ideas and projects arise from there.

How do I get into Panamerica network? I looked for it in his profile and blogs but couldn´t find it =/

I agree multiplatforms are the way to go as people uses different social networks and also they have different pros and cons. However I think there should be a structure showing how they relate to each other (maybe facebook and twitter for promotion of evoke activities and ning as a discussion place?). I also think we should consider what do we want to do in this network. As far as I understand there are at least 3 objectives:
1.- Keep discussions going on so we can all learn from each other's experience and get feedback for our own ideas
2.- Have a decentralized data base of great information (as some great posts and videos do right now)
3.- Use 1 & 2 to promote real life projects (maybe tho smaller topic oriented sub-networks or groups)

I know the best will emerge from this and a facebook group is a great first step. I just wanted to put my thoughts here and hear some feedback =)

Btw.. I asked what will happen with EVOKE after the 10 wks in the suggestions and questions discussion board. A mentor replied but I didn´t got too much info:
http://www.urgentevoke.com/forum/topics/what-will-happen-to-the-evoke

(I also asked Alchemy in a personal message but no answer so far... I guess they're planning something but they don´t want to tell =/ )

Also I believe purpose to actually make real life projects, we're all from around the world but think a few of us must definately be in the same places or near each other. I hope with these groups maybe we can set up local meetings and well yeah then local initiatives in real life with a real life team?Let me know if you think I'm crazy? Also @Sayel nice one for already being in touch with alchemy, will still send follow on e-mail as said in post to check might be easy way for us to retain stuff written on here after time goes.@Panamerica will join the new network :-).lol...what was wrong with the other?

Great work Agent Darbari. I'm awarding your pro-activity in setting up the Facebook group with +20 for spark.

Why don't you start a hash trend on twitter - something like #lifeafterevoke and then whenever someone searches for that you can find anyone that's interested!

I'm going to share this post to get the word out there about this on my Twitter.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
