Food banks and schools and connections to healthcare
I am currently am the chair of our regional foodbank and I have a deep interest in schools. Having run for school board before, I am aware that the school district should act as a community connector to people. Similarly the food bank connects food shelves with resources that can be shared. These linkages - when combined with healthcare organizations - could act quickly in a crisis. One final point - as a project manager at Mayo Clinic - but not a doctor - there are many proactive ways to help in a crisis. In particular, streamlining operations for care support can make one doctor 5 - 10 times more effective than acting alone.
My day job is to get that accomplished.

I love the Jamie Oliver TED stuff. We actually used it here in the Center for Innovation and we're working on having him come to Rochester MN. Thanks for the update on vote getting... That said, I will keep the ' in everything for now... I know that web world made me smusch my name together for www.danoneil.com - but I really like to honor heritage. Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
