Alternate currency or exchange system – A personal experience
I am working in Islamabad, capital of Pakistan and basically my family is settled at Karachi. I usually go to my home after three or four months but I regularly transfer money for my family to Karachi through Bank account transfer fund. One of my friend Ahmed is working in Karachi but his family is based at Islamabad and he regularly send money to his dependents here in Islamabad through bank also.
Being inspired from the mission on evoke to create alternative currency or exchange system. I called one of my friend Ahmed and explained him the objective and explore the possibility of money transfer by sending money through each other meaning I submit money to his dependants in Islamabad as he regularly wishes and the same amount he disburse to my family in Karachi assisting me and himself of bearing any transaction cost, timely transfer and being in contact with the others families. He very kindly accepted the exchange system and we went to call each other’s family members explaining the way to collect money. That is really a very good idea I thought and now we both are happy to find a friendly way of transfer money to each other helping each other and assisting ourselves.

The beauty of this system is that the exchange doesn't have to be money. If he wanted someone to fix something, for example, or check in on an elderly relative, you could do that for him, and he could do something similar for you. A great idea!
