A crash course in changing the world.
I am in Florida and I am enjoying a meal with my family a local restaurant- there are no more chain restaurants in existence due to poor food quality and a move towards locally grown produce and demand for organic food. I know that my food came from local farms because the restaurant lists all of the suppliers for the food on the menu. The food was prepared in a kitchen that minimizes waste and donates left over food to homeless shelters at night. I am eating Chicken Alfredo and it tastes like the traditional dish that has been popularized by many italian restaurants. The grease that is used to prepare food is recycled and sold to local citizens who power their cars using bio-diesel fuel.
