A crash course in changing the world.
In the learning part of this weeks mission I wrote about a system that works with talent points. In Germany it's called a "Tauschring". In my research about this system I had some ideas how it could be enlarged or enhanced.
First of all the current system is active in Germany and some other countries like France, Japan, or the Netherlands. But there nothing like a global trading system. You can use the system in Germany, but you can't benefit from your usage here when you are in Japan, France or somewhere else.
So my first idea would be to implement a worldwide called "global exchange trading system (GETS)". It also depends on the local exchange, but it can also be used global. That doesn't mean that you need to offer your ability or service outside your local living area, but you could. If your ability is to repair broken cars you will do this mostly in your living area and probably not outside your country. But what if you travel to another country and you know there is someone that knows the city/land like the back of his/her hand and could show it to you for the same talentpoints you earned in your own country.
Or you just arrived and don't have money in the lands currency with you yet and you could pay the baker for some rolls with your talentpoints earned at home.
This is my second point. The current talentpoint system as I understood works for services not for goods. So you can't go to your farmer and buy a bag of potatoes with talentpoints. I would expand this system troughout goods and accommodations as well. This has many positive effects. You earn talentpoints in things you are good at home. These talentpoints are then valid all over the world (assumed that many people use them) and they are not only valid for services. So you can visit a foreign country and could eventually sleep at someones home just for talentpoints or buy food or goods with your points.
Both of these ideas need a global reliable online community, reachable and understandable for everyone.
