Give a man a fish

My favourite "secret" is "Provide skills, not just finished technologies".

To really solve a problem it´s not enough to fight the indication. One has to dig deep and find the cause for the problem. After that you succesfully solved the problem the most important thing is to explain your solution to other people. If you do that right, you just have to explain it once and they´ll be able to handle it theirselves after that. If just give them the technology/goods you don´t really help them, you just increase their dependence to other people.

There´s an old saying which fits actually pretty good: Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
