To pick up on my video on Hemp as Biofuel, what is to keep a community or even a individual from growing hemp on their property (unless you live in the USA where that would be illegal)?
Imagine you had a farm or you lived in a village with enough farm land to grow some hemp. You could use that hemp to make biodiesel (you will need some extra resources to create the disel thats true) and then simply power your household with a diesel generator running on hemp biodiesel.
This would allow people or even wh*** villages to live off the electricity grid at least partly and even power their cars and farming machines.
Hemp is very easy to grow, has low maintenance and needs almost no pesticides or fertilizers. In addition, no new technologies are needed since everything already exists.
I think this could be a good alternative for communities everywhere hemp can be grown, which is almost everywhere in the world. Provided there is enough room to grow it and it does not take away room for food crops (although hemp can be used for food too) anyone could benefit from this eco friendly, renewable source of energy.
What do you guys think, what would be flaws in my logic?
