Here's a great way to actually do something to support urban gardening, cut green house gases, and increase a community's food security.Hiya readers — I'm Tabitha Alterman, one of your happy editors! I'm working on a community garden project near my home in New York City. This East Harlem garden, known as Chenchita's Garden, really needs a little TLC. If you can spare some garden seeds, transplants, tools, organic fertilizers or other resources, just shoot me an e-mail at [talterman @ MotherEarthNews.com] with the Subject Line "Harlem Garden." I'll let you know where to send the goodies, and I'll be soooo grateful. And if you happen to know gardening experts in the NYC area that might like to help, please let me know that too.
