A crash course in changing the world.

I Will Monitor The Gender Equality News Sites of My Choice

how about i expose the fact that Urgent Evoke is trying to force us to look at only the news that they want us to see?

here's some dirt-digging on UN created projects that have harmed women for years:

also, in case i don't make it past the moderators, my additions to the INVESTIGATE thread:

i think that cultural aspects that promote sexism and discrimination are all around the world, and it is important that we EXPOSE and CONFRONT all of them. they are the underlying root of the problem that must be dealt with.

20. which religions and cultural stereotypes (and perversions thereof) around the world promote sexism and discrimination by perpetuating artificial gender standards and expectations throughout history – and what can be done?

21. how does a lifetime of exposure to unhealthy, mysogynist and bogus depictions of ‘ideal/pretty/subservient’ women by the media and society continue to hinder gender equality? how does it affect both the growth of women and the perspective of men on women’s rights?

22. what is the figurehead fallacy? how does considering the problem as ’solved’ harm the gender equality movement?

i will continue to monitor the news sites of my choice. Urgent Evoke agents; be SKEPTICAL and CRITICAL and find news sites of your own!

remember, seek the TRUTH!

ok let's take what mark is saying
derrida, foucault, said and the others dont matter becasue they reduce reading to saying all books are equal
but literature is a glorious enterprise etc...
i may be wrong but are these statements scientifically vlaid
both the one aobut theory and the one about literature
i am going off tangent
but not really
science shows us that women are physically the weaker sex
if i am wrong on this someone correct me
this is something like social darwinism
which implies since the race came from africa the africans may be primitive and the later ones are evolved -- jesse owens was discriminated against inhitler's germany during the olympics oin the basis of evolutionary facts that seemingly suggested blacks are closer to primates that others on the shapes of skulls etc
he went on to win four golds
a feat repeated by carl lewis
both were blacks
does it mean that women are only good at feeding children becasue they have breasts and bearing children becasue they have wombs and men are only good at supplying semen and blacks are only good at sports
every argument gets simplified
we dont need websites and books or videos to think
when we start thinking many issues come
it would be simple to say i agree fully with nomadhar and do not agree at all with mark etc..
but thought is multi faceted and keeps going on as a process
of course in research we need to collect data,
do a proper study that is rational, scientific and objective and then apply it to real ife to bring about change that we beleive is for the better
but it is still provisional
every study is based on certain parameters that omit certain others and as a result is already biased
we can rely on facts
but even facts have to be cjhecked
how many people on earth
how many of them are women
what is the average per capita income of a woman? when compared to a woman?
we take certain agencies on trust - even here we need a pluralistic approach - a mix of governmental, private and shared knoweldge finding method rather than a which side is right approach
india is going to have a census now
i would think the same census must be taken by state governments, national govenrment, a private agency fomr inside the country thats reputed and another from outside aand se if the results are the same
ideallt they should be
no one should manipulate data
but what really happens in the world
all of us does it all the time knowingly or unknowingly
that is why i respect critiquing, criticism
and inquiry
it tells us to understand not only order, balance, harmony but also chance ,chaos, disharmony, atonality
it is difficult to engage in pure thought without any bias
but whether the questions is women's empowerment or vaccines one like a scientist has to try and another -someone like and artist -has to approach it irrationally
this is the new world we are moving into
one of shared perspectives and of of leaving no one out unless that person leaves by himself and even then he is free at any point to come back and join
for instance mark has now left
i didnt say he doesnt have valid points
i said i dont understand
but i prefer to carry the dialogue forward
he can choose ot stay awy or rejoin
women are to be empowered that is the issue here
at present
we agree there is inequality ,there is inequity
what are them ethods, pedagogies, ways, applications or procedures the help them
one is reading, researching yes
what about practical methods?
let's go on
i like the idea of a reformed quran
but will people read it , women and others in entrenched systems
how to get them to read it?
i really wish mark would come back but...
the links matter
they can be checked as to their veracity

you raise a valid point - between the customer and real know how there are many layers of inforamtion and misinformation....

Believe me, the day women are empowered, the world will shine
like it has never shined before, but then again, feminism is not
about the empowerment of women in my opinion,
there is a reason why one of the founders of such movement,
was a CIA operative.

WikiLeaks, Cryptome and The Smoking Gun aren't webpages that 'say anything'. they are full of REAL doc**ents and REAL evidence. the evidence is out there; we must not give up and we must not discourage the searchers of TRUTH. closing the eyes, ears and mind does not cause evil to disappear.

there are two main types of people that follow conspiracy theories. one is the type that wants something bigger to blame the ills of society on; they are often satisfied when a conspiracy is revealed to be true. the other is the TRUTH seeker; they are deeply saddened when they find out that a conspiracy is true. a comic book i have demonstrates this (and my) attitude; a journalist, having been tortured beyond help, is told that everything he wrote about is true by a person involved in the conspiracies. his reply: "how terrible."

lots of terrible actions found to be true started as conspiracy theories. sometimes the search for a conspiracy turns up evidence that reveals something that isn't a conspiracy, but often that discovery of destructive or malicious actions was something that needed to be known.

though i am very fond of evidence, i agree that not all TRUTHS have evidence. i LOVE my family and friends, but LOVE is not something that can be measured. i believe in gender equality, even though science reveals superficial physical differences (i.e. hips are set slightly differently). i also believe that working only from physical evidence can be harmful, especially when the conclusions are faulty. at one time in recent history (within 100 years), people measured heads and decided that women were inferior because their brains must be smaller.

as far as people reading the Reformed Quran, it has been downloaded millions of times now. however, i am not sure about it reaching people in suffocating systems. that is the great challenge, and the woman involved is trying to work both inside and outside to spread the word.

nomadhar i have been in ksa and am now i libya and as a non muslim i wouldnt want to be into spreading the reformed quran for simple reasons but ican teach my students to question think ask why and how and problem solve and critique and interpret and analyze and hey presto before you know it things start to happen i believe in being subversive

Hi, really interesting post. Thanks for sharing this information. When I first read Mission 6's guidelines I also felt like there was some "intention" to bias our research, although, we do not have any proof. In order to keep your valuable post safe, I mean I do not want it to suddenly "vanish" I want to propose you to make an exercise (very useful for real life) and modify the tone of some lines (don't delete). I would change the ones that somehow point out responsibility for "mistakes" or "unsuccessful attempts to make this planet a better world". You could also transform the negative aura (not yours but the subject itself) into powerful momentum & focus the energy and intention of the post on suggesting and/or encouraging the others (us) to look for useful news elsewhere and also through the links that you kindly offer. From a formerly "emotional" writer; I feel better with myself now, I want to share this with you all.

Defination of discrimination, equality and even rape come to mind. In some communities in Kenya, women expect their husands to beat them; many do not believe that there can be rape within marriage. Happily in many parts of Africa, big is beauiful :)

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
