Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Hi everybody, I want to show you this AMAZING website that a friend of mine outside EVOKE in turn showed me. Its called Kiva. http://www.kiva.org. It is a website that allows regular people to fund foreign entrepreneurs. As it is my dream to become an investor of this type I am more then over excited. Just wanted to let other people know of this amazing oppertunity!

I guess there are a number of different companies that use this micro finance models. It's good that these services do not require the borrower to pay any interest on the loans.

I think that the micro finace model is a powerful agent for change - especially in the realm of micro-credit! Lending money to financially deprived people on a trust basis is revolutionary in this day of hyper-interest rates and financial insecurity but I have read about the great success they have had, an almost "pay it forward" multiplying effect happens, as the payback of the original loan is used for the next endeavor. I have a vision for a local project that would rely on micro-credit to creat a micro-enterprise that would sort of self-perpetuate.

Thanks for sharing this!

Kiva! I love me some Kiva! I have real problems donating money to charity, but this organization makes it both pragmatic and kinda fun.

I have am currently lending through Kiva and have had a great experience so far. I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Gift certificates are great gifts (which is how I found out about it, actually).

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
