A crash course in changing the world.
#19 "Think like a child – children have no limit to their thinking"
My 4 year old daughter can solve any problem. Sure, her solutions are sometimes impractical. For example, yesterday she told me if people needed to go somewhere and didn't have a way to get there she could push a secret button on her scooter and 72 seats would pop out the back and she could push them wherever they need to go. Her eyes sparkled as she imagined herself helping people, and she didn't once worry about the amount of work it would be to push everyone around, or bother with the details of where those 72 seats would come from. Of course as adults we see the impracticality of this idea, but the important part is she is thinking, creating, envisioning solutions to whatever problems she encounters instead of shrugging and saying it can't be done. If we all had that trait, that willingess to imagine a solution without the limitations of what is known to be possible, innovation instead of stagantion would be the norm.
