A crash course in changing the world.

2020... People, technological innovations, Earth, countries....

When I was 13 years old, and imagined the world in future, I thought about flying cars, robots doing everything for me, I dreamed about a robot who can do all my homework for me, and who can go to school instead of me, I dreamed about living in Long Island beach...and now I think it was so childish and whatever I had at that time was the best thing a person can get in life: nice family and time spent with them.

Now grown up, I feel like technology making our life so impersonal, that we are losing most valuable things in our life. I do not want flying cars and robots anymore, and I hope they will never be created, because I do not want to see traffic in our blue sky and I do not want to see stupid children, who will be just enjoying their life. Of course, I do not mind having those robots in fields, manufacturing companies doing the heavy job done by people.

In 2020, after 10 years, I see myself in Almaty, gaining success and happiness from working on Governmental program of promoting natural beauty of Kazakhstan. Tourism is greatest field, to diversify economy of Kazakhstan, since Kazakhstan has wonderful nature equal to Switzerland. Developing this field will give advantage to some remote cities and villages of my country where there is no place to work, but the beauty of nature is incredible.

As the main feature of tourism will be nature, mostly eco-tourism will be promoted, helping to show and at the same time to preserve beauty. People will benefit from this program, by finding new place to feed their families, by being proud to help economy, from development of infrastructure such as railway system, which will be improved to attract tourists, and simply by being close to nature and at the same time to have all development necessary for education and well being of their children.

And last... in 2020...I see myself as a wife of wonderful person and a mother.

Alchemy, I will wait for your call in 2020, hoping that you will say that T
okyo food crises had been avoided because of changes and contributions made by all people in the world.

I dont believe in the Fate, so also if kind of things might happen just as casuality, the matter things always happen to teach us something. When I choose Sholpan as Agent to mentor I just barely knew her point of view and herself. Right now i cant say I know her more but after this post I can honestly say I am starting to see in her something really nice and that I hope it that as a little seed will keep grow year after year. Sholpan, I really like your mix of vision of the future, personal goals but also personal feelings that give to people the reminder that after all, a social innovator is a human being moved by feelings of love and caring for the world where she or he lives and for the other people. On a more philosophical way i would say that a social innovator is someone that found in himself a piece of humanity and started to look for and work for develop it and make the others awares about what they can find in themselves too.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Foods are vacc** sealded for easy…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
