A crash course in changing the world.
It is Christmas, and it is dark. There are less energy sources than a decade ago, and power is getting less common. Now one in ten houses in the U.S do not have energy, and the world has finally decided to crackdown on energy. The government is giving out tax rebates for whoever spends under a certain amount of electricity. The church has come in and said that on Christmas, you should not use your lights. There were many religious reasons why they justified this, but no matter the reasons, it has worked. Almost a third of the world goes dark for an entire day, which saves a massive amount of energy. The United Nations are now urging more religions to have a day of darkness. The reason this would work is 84% of the world is religious, these days would largely be followed. This will save us enough energy to buy us some time to enhance renewable energy sources, before every day is dark.
