A crash course in changing the world.

I can not believe it I made it to 100! I do not know if I should celebrate or not. Gettin old is not for the faint of heart. I had a bout with the 'ritis boys and Arthur did a job on me..hee hee...cough. I still have my own choppers cause they said back in the day if you are not true to your teeth they will be false to you. Course now they have all those new thingamagummys that keep your teeth from rotten out of your head. All the young folks walk around with smiles so bright they practically glow in the dark. Sometimes I yell at em while I am sittin on my front porch rocker"Turn off them highbeems"!! They laugh at each other and look at me like I am crazy. Well maybe yes maybe no but I forgot a lot more than they will ever learn. They do not know what it was like back in 2010 when we was all on the verge of nuclear war. We held prayer vigils and connected with people all over the world so that we finally pulled back from the brink. They got rid of that atomic clock, vultures just waitin to watch the bombs explode. That never happened. The major countries, Europe, Russia, and the US just finally agreed to wipe the atom bomb off the face of the world. They went into countries peacefully at times and with force at others and got rid of all the means they had to build that evil bomb. Now there was a time for nailbitin that was! Hee hee. We was all going down to our shelters to make sure every thing was stocked up and ready in case some fool pulled the plug. Some of us lived in em and some of em still do. Not me though I went nigh on crazy in that coffin of a shelter. I told my husband they let the horse outten the barn and they was dang sure wastin their time shuttin the door now. Ah he is a long time gone. Marriage is harder on the menfolks sometimes. You oughtta see my garden! pretty as a picture! I got neighbors helping me and we all share the fruits of our labor. I even have a garden on my roof of all things!!!They come up with some new fangled water purifier so that we could save our drain and greywater. We can also use the sewage. It is so finely filtered down that the water sparkles in the aquifer. We finally saved the Ogallala! They used new forms of plantin and waterin so that the aquifer just filled right back up. What water we wasnt using went right back to the aquifer. Now the city uses fruit trees when they are beautifyin a neighborhood so there is plenty of fresh fruit hangin and with our hot weather we get lots of variety. I got breadfruit growing in my own backyard amazing isnt it? The community is much more closer together. We went back to the old ways of multiple family homes and all the generations get to benefit from one another. No one goes hungry and no one dies from abuse or being just plain forgotten. No one goes hungry cause the children rose up and said "NO MORE RAPE OF EARTH. Farming communities bloom all across the planet. Nobody puts up with any bullcrap from the violent types. We discovered that the use of harmonics helped to calm people down and put them in their right mind. We treat people with drug addictions instead of just shoving them into a prison where they can learn more crime
I dont pay for electricity any more. I got hooked up to one of them wind farms and I got solar panels on my barn and garage so now they have to pay me!!! Woo and no more carbon emissions from cars. I didnt think we would ever get off our dependency on oil. It was the Gulf of Mexico Oil spill that finally put end to all that. We had to breed crabs, shrimp and the marine life that was killed off by that tragedy. We let em free at World Water Day. Boy that was something else. I finally get my crab legs!! We dont get to hear the growl of a perfectly tuned engine, I do miss that, but we do have clean air and electric cars. When you go shoppin at the mall they kindly offer free charge on your car while it is settin in their carport. And yes, I still drive. I got all my faculties and my eyesight is just as good as it ever was. I don't worry about diabetes anymore they got a cure for that. If you get cancer they just treat you with gene therapy and it goes away without gettin you sick.
They finally got rid of all the bug sprays and use natural ways of gettin rid of pests. Thats what they did in the old days and we didnt have to worry about poisons being in our vegetables. We barter for goods and occasionally use money but we just grow what we need mos times. My great granddaughters make their clothes themselves. They got that talent from me. aah the streetlamps are coming on. They use solar panels to make those work. We have general peace but we still have to arm ourselves. Some just went to crazy town and never came back so we gotta watch for um. We still have all the old arguments and discontent but we saved our planet from ruination just in the nick of time. We just let people pray on their own faiths praying for peace and no division so we didnt feel like warring all the time.! Well gotta go, Law and Order is on, still!!!!!! I dont want to miss it!!! Ching ching
PS The Beatles will never go out of fashion!

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Foods are vacc** sealded for easy…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
