As I returned from the International Lunar Outpost, I couldn't but help marvel at all of the progress that has been achieved in the last decade. So much has been accomplished, from transforming the energy grid, to the numerous breakthroughs in batteries and photovoltaics. Although it is nice to reflect on the progress of the past, I mustn't loose sight of the present and future. I didn't start this company to just help a few million, I did it to help a few billion.
Opening branches in Africa and South America these last couple years has really put ourselves in a position to take full advantage of the mass '3rd World-to-1st World' movement seen today. Governments have realized the need for foreign help in jump starting their economies and are now actually coming to us - quite a change from all those years tirelessly trying to find contacts and get approvals. Yes, the future looks bright indeed. I couldn't be more happy with my decision to start a microfinance company.
Alchemy's latest evoke seems dire, millions vulnerable to famine in Tokyo. Perhaps I can use this as an opportunity to open an office is Asia. I'll be sure to bring some colleagues so they can look into it while I am over there...
