[Imagining the future is an incredibly difficult exercise for my brain.]
In 2020, I am living somewhere with my wife and my kids. Location does not really matter, as the world is intimately wound together through the internet. I work in a job that I enjoy with a small group of people that I know well and with whom I share a vision. In short, I have a job that sustains my humanity. This gives me the luxury of time and mind to look for opportunities to make the world a better place one individual at a time. I talk with my family about my ideas and my world views. I regularly correspond with students I met in the past to encourage them to keep pursuing their dreams, getting inspired by them in the process.
One Saturday morning, I am talking with my wife and kid(s) in the living room when the phone rings...
