A crash course in changing the world.

IMAGINE1: Where will I be in about 10 years time...

I will live with my wife and 2-3 kids in a small but gorgeous environmentally low-impact house (look here for what I mean:http://www.simondale.net/house/index.htm). It will be situated in an intact nature evironment as a part of a small community of about 100-200 families (look here for a more detailed vision of what I mean: http://www.tamera.org/index.php?id=1&L=0). The community will be self-sufficient and self-governing. This will be made possible by a combination of high-tech and sustainable techniques like solar power, biomimicry, permaculture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permaculture), etc.

The face of the earth and the organization of humanity will have changed dramatically. A lot of principles we take for granted today will have been finally recognized as out-dated, ineffective and even counter-productive or harmful. Centralized government with professional politicians will have been abolished after greed for power and money, corruption, lobbyism etc. led to growing alienation in the population and finally a collapse of the old structures. New alternative structures have been established in the meantime by forward-thinking, smart and benevolent people so that the transition period had been managed with a minimum of upheaval and chaos. Governance of communities is handled on a local level by communities with the participation of everybody all the time and not just once in a period of four years during election time. The assignment of administrative roles and decision-making is handled through internet-based voting platforms (watch the film "Us Now": http://www.usnowfilm.com/). Communities are inter-connected in a network of communities to ensure the overall sustainability of the planet and to enable the exchange of needed goods, assistance and technological innovation.

Economy has changed from an unhealthy exponentially growing capital-based to a much more natural resource-based. Goods are no longer assigned artificial price tags but are measured by the amount of energy and resources needed to produce them. The concept of debt as well as the concept of interests have been abolished (there is no such thing as debt in nature). Money has been turned back into the simple medium of exchange it was once conceived as and no longer grows on its own.

In enterprises the principle of competition has been replaced by the principle of cooperation. Economic structures of the late 20th and early 21st century, have finally been recognized globally as the exploitative, psychopathic and harmful entities that they are (watch the film "The Corporation": http://www.thecorporation.com/). Wages have been replaced by participations based on the skill and amount of time or other resources people invest in the enterprise.

Due to the step-by-step elimination of many other wasteful and unproductive factors like war, unhealthy consumerism, planned obsolence, etc. the general amount of work necessary to sustain oneself has been reduced to about 4 hours per person, per day. This in turn has led to the elimination of a lot of stress and other unhealthy factors which in turn sped up innovation and further increased productivity per person.

People live longer, healthier, more productive lives than ever before, having enough spare time for the essential things in life like family, friends and personal and spiritual development which in turn disables the source for a lot of the greed which determined the lives of people for such a long time before.

Excellent reference doc**entary "The Corporation". I know it well. It needs to be remembered that corporations are made up of people who were screaming innocent newborns in the not so distant past. What influences, motivations, pressures bought the grouping together that as a collective can take action counter to any one individual.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
