Imagine10: A Manifesto

The purpose of the EVOKE network is to be a mobile and independent team of international crisis-solvers. We are the opposite of terrorists; through using small task forces we spread hope, imagination, and a sense of security, self-empowerment and well-being. By keeping our forces small and our objectives specific, we are able to achieve what large and unwieldy institutions are unable to.

Some of the crises taken on by the EVOKE network are disasters which strike quickly, while others are long-term problems.

EVOKE agents work towards a sustainable and better world. Ultimately the goal is to save the world. Ultimately the goal is for there to be no need for EVOKE.

Whether the world needs saving, and to what degree, what should constitute the "win" condition are constantly changing, and so the EVOKE networks goals evolve as well.

The theatricality, the mystery and spectacle of EVOKE, fights one of the greatest challenges to the network: apathy. Curiosity, inspiration, imagination and empowerment are the results of seeing huge obstacles defeated. Once people can see what is possible, once they know a thing can be done and belief has taken root, our battle becomes easier.
