IMAGINE3 - Salt?
My favorite holiday is and has always been Halloween. There’s just something about the atmosphere that I love. I guess it could also have something to do with all of the awesome pumpkin baked goods my local grocery store also starts offering. At this point, though, I’m in a different state, and those delicious chocolate chip pumpkin cookies are a thing of the past. My family has had a lot of fun putting spooky decorations up on the front yard. Most of these decorations do not require power, but some well placed lights and a fog machine are always good for atmosphere. These lights and the fog machine use a salt powered generator (http://dailyuw.com/2010/1/11/salt-power-leads-new-energy-sources/). I've also made Ian do a few laps around the neighborhood with his energy-producing back pack to keep the porchlight on for the kids. Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat.
