IMAGINE8: My Indigenous Knowledge on Raptors

Raptor Conservation Of The Future

It is year 2094 I am a hundred years old. The indigenous knowledge that I will pass down will be one of raptor conservation. Living in South Africa my wh*** life I was exposed to wildlife since the day that I could walk. At fifteen I started
my apprenticeship at a NGO called Eagle
Encounters
. This was the place I began my journey of falconry. I
learnt everything I know about birds there and have continued working in
conservation until now. My knowledge grew over the years as I worked in the
field that I love. I will be passing on all my acc**ulated knowledge down to
the next generation. I am passionate about wildlife (Raptors in particular) and
my indigenous knowledge cannot be learnt from a book but only by hands on
experience. This is why choose this as my Indigenous Knowledge to pass on to
the future generations.

Hey, cool! Raptors are sweet!! I worked at a place called OWL (Orphaned Wild Life) here in Vancouver, BC, and the bald eagles were by far my favourite. So majestic. I hope you live to be 100 and know everything about raptors! haha

Brilliant pictures! (Even though I was slightly disappointed when I realised you meant bird raptors and not velociraptors.)
