IMAGINE9: 2011 Lets Recruit Military Trained Personal (Survival skills)

You have heard people say "Survival of the Fittest" or it's the "Law of the Jungle" but have you ever thought about what these sayings mean?

In today's society, most people seem to be happy just watching competitions on television where people compete against each other in the wilderness. The truth is that these reality survival shows unfortunately, only show the contestants backstabbing each other in an endless quest for money, rather than actual survival skills.
In our modern world many people believe that we will never have to truly struggle to survive because of all the technology that we have today. However this is not true. We have been put into a false state of security. No one believes that a struggle will happen "to them."

Honestly, can you remember a time that you prepared dinner without the use of a microwave? Or even the last time you spent time with your family?

If you still believe that you will be safe for the rest of your life, you must change your thinking. There is proof all around you, just look at the horrific disasters, both natural and unnatural that have occurred in the past ten years.

Think back to when the 2004 tsunami that hit Thailand caused massive devastation and loss. Or even think back to how Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans and left millions of people without the essential means of survival such as food, fresh water, and shelter. If you were there would you have survived? Could you save yourself and family in a situation such as these? Should we really learn the skills necessary to find fresh drinking water, or build a fire without matches when all we have to do is walk into a kitchen?

The answer is YES: a disaster can happen any place, at any time and can cause havoc among people who do not expect and plan for it. These disasters can knock out electricity and other amenities that we take for granted. We must prepare ourselves for these worst case scenarios and make sure we survive.

Experts say that we are due for a natural disaster, and that we are at a very high risk for a worldwide disease epidemic. They estimate this would be something similar to the Spanish flu that destroyed populations across the world in the early 20th century. It is completely possible and even somewhat likely that a wide reaching disease could devastate a community and infect everywhere ranging from hospitals, to police departments, to schools. If this were to happen we could not depend on others to help us. We would need to survive on our own ad fend for ourselves.

So its 2011 and a huge flu pandemic has just hit and it's my job to assemble a team of people online that can do something to help the people in the flu pandemic. I have assembled a team of military trained personal to go online and teach people survival skills, such as, making a fire without matches, purifying water naturally, what plants are edible, how to make a stable shelter, what foods are the most sustainable. If a disaster strikes my team will be ready to make you safe, sustainable and lead you to taking the correct precautions.

Survival Skills are essential in facing natural disasters and pandemics

I'v got my survival guide book so go out and get yours!

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
