The swine flu is again in Mexico. Good news is people have experience dealing with this case. Bad news is most
people now think last time was exaggerated and some even not real. Good thing is we will always have facebook
and twitter. Huh?
We are using existing platforms to communicate what people must do with a comment in your facebook wall and a twitt. Viral communication against a virus. Networking- It´s proven really effective!!!
UPDATE: To be honest I took this post lightly. I´m kinda tired of swine flu mass media bombardment in Mexico. It was some 3 months 24 hours a day every single hour of non stop messages on tv, radio, newspapers of what to do against H1N1. At the end it wasn´t bad. More people die of other stuff. Yet I understand the gravity if it had been stronger.
In Mexico the conversation went from paranoia to total disbelief towards the government to theories of H1N1 being a weapon of mass distraction from the economical crisis . . . who will ever know.

The problem is in areas without access to these networking systems, and even when people do know that they should take vitamins, use anti-bacterial disinfectant, and other flu prevention techniques, these things arent always available. +1 Local Insight

True. Great point. I know it´s not the case for many parts of the world but social networks penetration in Mexico is really high. Not all people have a computer or even electricity, but internet cafes are all over the country, even in the smallest towns I´ve seen kids checking out hi5 or facebook or twitter. Yet I know what worked in Mexico was TV repeating all the time the swine flu info. 91% of the population have a tv in Mexico http://www.oei.es/cultura2/mexico/c3.htm

The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
