Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

The native peoples who used to live where my town now stands are gone and with them most of the indigenous knowledge of our area. We know only a few things about the water ways and that is this. Don't swim in the water unless you want to risk death. There are creatures in there that drag people to the bottom and eat them. I know this because one of the family's friends was on a boat and went into the water. Something tried to pull him down and he was screaming. Everyone tried to pull him back into the boat but they couldn't and whatever it was got him, they never found his body. There are also super strong under currents in the river that can suck you under and pull you into underwater caverns where you will drown.

The animals here are very deadly, we have coyotes, wolves, bears, mountain lions and panthers. I didn't know that you could have panthers in Missouri until i saw one walking through the woods. It was big, hairy, black, and had a long tail. It was close enough to the road to see which is terrifying. The wolves and mountain lions i know about because i've seen them in town. There was a mountain lion in our backyard one day when it flooded. The wolf we saw while we were driving, she was two blocks from our house digging through the garbage, we were less than 20 feet from her.

I haven't seen any bears yet but i have heard about them. The coyotes i have heard while i was at my uncles. He said the locals shoot them to keep them from attacking the people. We also have Rattle snakes, Copper Heads and Cotton mouths. The only ones that i have seen so far are the cotton mouths but i have seen snakes that i cannot identify as well. Including a snake my uncles killed that was at least four feet in length and think enough around to strangle a human being, around one and a half to two fists in width.

I don't know exactly how i'm going to put this information in a usable form for future generations. But any idea's would be helpful. As soon as the project is complete i'll upload the photo's.

*Update: I'll be using embroidery, like in the Bayeux Tapestry to complete my project. It might not be finished by the time Urgent Evoke is complete because i've never done embroidery before. But i will try to get it done as soon as possible.

Did you know that the Bayeux Tapestry was created using only two types of stitching? The Backstitch and Couching. It was created with wool threads on linen and portrays the Norman conquest of England.

*Update: I think i'll us embroidery, there are several pieces of tapestries that have survived the ages that show history such as the Bayeux Tapestry of France.Which depicts the events leading up to the Norman conquest of England as well as the events of the invasion itself. It was embroidered with wool on linen. Perhaps i'll pick up an embroidery kit and see what i can make :-)

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
