Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

I have found reports about indigenous people in South America using plants for medicine and healing. One tribe, called the Yąnomamö, are known for their huge botanical knowledge and use roughly 500 plants for food, medicine, and house building. If I were to make an object representing this knowledge, I would construct a large hollow wooden box with leaves and herbs hand-carved on the sides and lid. People would be able to write what they know about plant medicines and put them in the box for future generations.
