Indiginous Practices and Ritual Insight

Preservation of knowledge is deeply and naturally communicated (transferred) through participation. People will act as conduits for wisdom more effectively, by turning ideas into actions and techniques that can be repeated. Consider many spiritual traditions, such as yoga or meditative exercises; specific practices that have been passed down through the ages have connected countless generations of practitioners to any number of profound common awarenesses...and rather effectively, by making the wisdom emerge through each artist, in his or her own experience!
If community-conscious skills (i.e. medicine, farming, constructive imagination, etc..) are made habitual (rather than inaccessible, as elite fields of specialization), communities will be stronger, as their individual contributors grow more well-rounded.
Subjectivity is key to resonant understanding, and the vibrations will carry over to future learners, as we simplify concepts into actual experiences, activities, and routines. Musical instruments are great to have around...

Yes-- as the Chinese proverb says, “Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand.” I would add that community-conscious skills need to be not just habitual, but part of a meaningful ritual to have the biggest impact, not only on the individual but the culture as a wh***.
