Inglorious Knowledge

I'm learning more about Inglorious Knowledge right now, and in
particular what I'm wondering about is what is inglorious knowledge. I was
researching this question online, and this blog post caught my attention
because It talked about a small part of Peru that which took a small part of land and turned it into farming land/

Consequently, they could continue their traditional activities in shifting agriculture, growing about 80 species of plants, most important among them, manioc, maize,
bananas, and rice. Hunting, fishing, and gathering fruits and nuts from
the forest are other activities that significantly enhance their diet.

The quote I chose here is basically saying people living their continues traditional farming for their own food. they plant about 80 kinds of plants which is great.

I think this is important because they are living a traditional life and helping their community It makes me wonder what other countries are doing with their farming lands.
