Innovation: What is it and how can I get some? (Mission 1.)

"Innovation (often) comes from constraint -
If you’ve got very few resources,
you’re forced to be very creative in using and reusing them."

Aptly put by Ethan Zuckerman, this quote sums up social innovation for me; the idea that true creativity comes when put under the correct stressors. Why is this important you might ask? The answer is simply that people really do think outside the box when it begins to shrink on them. When there is no easy option/solution to our question we are forced to dig deep inside, reaching out to preposterous ideas that 'just might work.' Personally, I believe there is too much socialization within the westernized-public today that the glass is half empty; there is too many people that let those diwindling resources or ideas bog them down in a psychological swamp of self doubt. But in developing countries such as: Africa, India, and China, we can see amazing feats of innovation - the Tata Nano for example has rocked the Asian car industry due to its simple limitations of the consumer budget. The answer truly is to think outside the box; the answer is to test ourselves to produce much more than we ever thought possible, for less, with lower emissions and with a higher productivity. This method I believe plausible because there is no other viable option; despiration leads men to madness; madness personifies genuis, the genius of thinking outside the box.

We all see the world from different perspectives. As a 17-year old student from
a quiet hideaway in the West of England, I applaud innovation. The excitement
and reward from being a part of a creative or otherwise progressive project
makes giant leaps towards what should be a world renowned human quality;
teamwork. I would like to thank Evoke for innovating what I can only describe
as a truly immersive ‘game.’ I have never written a blog, nor have I ever felt
so compelled! The experience has left me with a sense of reward I can only
describe as qualitative, a ‘food for thought,’ mish-mash of ideas sprawled
across a web page, (therefore please excuse my grammar or spelling hehe.)
Needless to say I am itching for my next mission!

I encourage any comments you post to question what I have said! Reformulate my
sentences to show the h***s in my argument, prove how innovation is hindered by
pressure, tell me I am wrong. Any feedback will be greatly apprechiated, and I
thank you for reading my 2 cents.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
