Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Over the years, poverty has been a song in many parts Uganda. With more than 70% of total population living on less than $2 a day!
Today I am breaking good news from my sources. A new Bank is set to start operation in just a few weeks. The launch is set for May 14th, 2010.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this bank name is: Community Bank!

"We took a survey in 2007 and another one in 2008 to identify some of the major loop-h***s in our monetary system and we found out that the money flow currently poor. Many people don't have access to small loans to help them start small businesses - mainly because they don't have security to cover the loans! At the same time people 's saving habits are poor", said the manager Community Bank in a telephone interview.

Apparently the Community Bank has been formed for the people by the people! The bank is reinventing the cooperative groups in rural communities. Because of the prevailing poverty, many people cannot afford a security for a loan, as a group, it becomes easier to acquire a loan. The bank is going to focus on issuing very low interest rate - development loans to small and big groups of people. Of course these groups have to convince the bank that they will be able to service the loan.

We shall also issue savings accounts to these groups and individuals.

The bank is set to operate in all districts around Uganda with at least one branch per district. Branches around the country are set to start operating this week.

"We are mainly setting our roots in the diaspora, we realize that the people at the grassroots need immediate rescue from poverty. We promise to work closely with all social entrepreneurs in the country. Agriculture is the leading sector in generating revenue in the country and we have a special plan to modernize agriculture through issuing "agriculture modernisation loans to farmers and farmer groups" added the Manager Cooperative Bank.

The major target of this bank is to eliminate poverty through educating social entrepreneurs on how to save, spend and invest wisely. The bank will also issue low interest rate loans to individuals and groups in the diaspora and provide a rescue/ development fund as required.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
