Living in a small flat in a big city might not be the best condition to cultivate a garden...That's what I was thinking for a long time. My parents and grandparents have vegetable gardens in their backyards and I always wanted one for myself.
Last summer I was visting a friend of mine and he had cultivated a "mini-garden" on his balcony.
After seeing that it was possible to cultivate your own vegetables even on a balcony I decided back then that I would give it a try myself.
As it is yet too cold to plant seeds or plantlets I'm trying to learn as much as possible about gardening.
Yesterday I was talking to a friend of mine about URGENT EVOKE and the missions including this ACT-part and she was thrilled about my gardening plans. So we decided that we would cooperate. The plan is that we're going to plant different vegetables and herbage so we could swap food.
In order to not just let the time till the gardening season starts pass, I am now trying to motivate as many people as possible for our tiny project.
I don't now yet if this plan will work out, if the plants will grow on my balcony but I'm feeling very inspired right now :D
In case the plants don't like my balcony or my gardening skills I'm shure I may co-use my parents garden.
As soon as this "project" starts I'm going to post a few photos.
