Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

To expand on my previous post, The point I am trying to make is that some times we don't need to spend years researching and spending $xxx, xxx to find a solution. Why go to the store and buy a new shelf when all that is needed is a
nail to fix the one you already have.

My Mother (a woman of many wise words) used to say "Necessity is the mother of invention" -although I'm sure some one else far wiser said that before her- But it hangs true, if you don't have what you need, you can make something else
to fit the job.

A few years ago I was on a camping trip. Late one evening (and after a few gla**** of the local wine!) the battery in the light ran out. I had a candle but there was a light breeze and it just guttered every time I tried to light it. So
I took an empty 2lt plastic drink bottle I had, and cut the top quarter off.
In the bottom part of the bottle I put some sand to weigh it down and then I
turned the top part up-side-down and pushed it down inside the lower part so the
neck of the bottle was now at the base of the bottle wedged into the sand. Into
this I fitted the candle and "woila" a perfect wind proof candle holder! no need to go to
Ikea ;)

O.K. so this is not going to save the world, but recycling and utilising what we have plus a little imagination we can go a long way.

Go to your blog posts and select this one. Underneath your text is a drop down menu and 3 bubble choices Learn, Act, and (the other one). Choose one of those bubbles and a mission from the drop down menu and you're set. I hope

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
