Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

I think th

at money only can work when two requirements are fulfilled:

1. Money must have the same value for everybody
2. The value of money must be visible

The first point, I think, is achieved. Of course you can by nearly nothing for 1 € in Europe but you can do your wh*** buying for one week with 1 € in Africa. But over large areas the first point is fulfilled. And for the moment it isn’t very important for the poor Africans that they don’t get the same for their money when they come to Europe for holidays…

The second one is much more difficult. You can see the value of the money on your bank notes or coins. And you can read it on your statement of bank account. But what is the real value? Well, you can buy goods for your money. A Lamborghini cost’s the same for everyone. But does it mean the same? For me, a car like this is very nasty, so the value for me is very low. But for other people? So how can you make it comparable?

When you read 25 Top Creative Visions you can find an idea of transforming the value of goods in energy to make it comparable. I think that’s a great idea in theory. At the moment in Germany fuel is very expensive. I think a lot of people won’t let the water tap drop, if fuel drops out of their tanks in the same speed…
I think this is the most important think when you want to make value visible: You need something what everybody needs and what decreases. The thing will change from time to time. For the moment it is fuel, but in future it could be water or something else that becomes less in the world.

But how can you make it become real? I don’t think that anybody wants’ to carry some liters of fuel when he or she goes to supermarket. And even not everybody has a car or motorbike. When you go everywhere by bike, what’s your value of one liter fuel?

Cause of all these things, I think that barter economy will become a new importance in the next years. Platforms like www.exchange-me.de become more and more important during the last years. And you can not only swap goods, you can also change services. If a haircut has the same value as a car polish for you? So find an exchange partner on these platforms. If a newspaper of the birthday of your grandma has the same value as a Porsche 911 for you? Don’t care about the common value or the moral doubt of your neighbors, just do it, because this your value and not the one of a supposedly autonomous free market economic.

For me, this is a second way for private household to bargain; in the end money cannot be replaced at all.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
