Two pieces of information were extremely important and surprising for me.
First: report early, even if the information is incomplete. I wondered, why this is a hint for journalists, as it tempts reporters to make up the rest of the info or just exaggerate the few facts and opinions they already have.
Second: The formula hazard + Outrage seemed important enough to remember. In fact, this formula is not only part of the crisis handling handbook, but usable in everyday live, which shows us, that even in everyday live we can practice for special situations.
For better understanding let me put an example in here: when friends or relatives are about to take actions, that are not wise, we need to show them, that this is hazardous for their lives. In other cases people surrounding us, make small things such a big thing, they get obsessed and can hardly be stopped, even though nothing happened. In these cases, it's often wise to just make the case as boring as possible or in an ideal case take all of the interest of it.
