Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

  • WHICH great challenges and social problems should the EVOKE Network tackle next?
  • I think that UE should rely on the power of UE1.5 during the interim. UE1.5 could offer software that lets the users create their own missions, as the best ideas will come from the agents.

  • WHO would you encourage to play Season 2?
  • I would encourage many more teachers to play, especially if there are features for exporting the mission and turning it into a classroom lesson. Also, many more retired and active experts should play, because they are a valuable resource to the community

  • HOW would you change the game for Season 2?
  • First I would add sycronous chat, translation features, have veteran and respected gamers assist the game runners, add webinars for mass teaching, a team feature, a whiteboard feature, embedded games for creating revenue, and way to export the missions as a classroom lesson and many more, bassically how I envision my mentoring network. Personally, I would change the game with my positive outlook and sunny disposition.

  • WHAT new tools would you want as an EVOKE agent?
  • Every agent wont need the same tools, so I think that adding a tool feature would be a good place to start. Im sure that the community will be able to think of many different tools (some of which dont exist yet) but my input is that the system should be flexible in the next season. This will allow good ideas that surface during the 8 weeks to be enacted quickly

  • WHY would you come back for a second Season? What more would you want from the experience?
  • I would come back to play the same role that I have this season, as a support role and a thinker. The only improvment on this experience would be to be part of the official UE team, this would confirm that my efforts were noticed and appreciated. This is merely a nitpick though, as I did as much outside of that group, as I have mentioned doing within it.

Thanks for sharing your suggestions Gabriel. I like the idea of teaching tools within the game to help support teaching with the game.

And I would like to say that your positive outlook already changed Evoke 1.0 and made it a better place. Thanks!

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
