LEARN3 - Waste to Watts
I came across this (http://www.dellsocialinnovationcompetition.com/ideaView?id=08780000...) while looking for a power player. There was a social innovation competition hosted by Dell that offered a $50,000.00 reward to help the winner put their plan into action. The winner was a team of people who came up with an idea to repurpose waste into a back up power supply for hospitals in developing nations. This idea helps solve the problem of black outs during medical procedures. I thought it was a very interesting idea and am glad to see it works.

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
