I think a lot of disasters are possible in this day and age. But because of events in recent years would be a health outbreaks likely. It is just three years ago, that a pandemic has emerged in Europe, the swine flu. Apart from war and famine, diseases are dangerous for humanity. The third and last plague pandemic is just 67 years ago. It killed more than 12 million people around the world.
If Germany is affected by a pandemic, it will also come to my city. The government must respond quickly and warn the population. For such a case, there is a contingency plan in Germany.
Moreover, there is an agreement with the company "Novartis" and "GlaxoSmithKline". At the outbreak of a pandemic, these companies make vaccines for all German nationals. That would be over two times 80 million doses. But that does not help. Because a pandemic is rapidly spreading and other countries are also affected. The Ushahidi platform can help to inform other countries, so that quick assistance can be rendered to humanity. This should all be informed of the exact course of the disease. The symptoms of the disease must be notified at all. Also, the vaccine should be available to all affected countries. All these aspects can be on the Ushahidi platform quickly spread to the world's population. This means that the pandemic can not be prevented, but it is easier to get these under control.

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
