A crash course in changing the world.
Lets re-start and Continue on Urgent Evoke URGENT EVOKE!!
I am putting out an URGENT EVOKE. I know that people become polarized to issues but do not let one person highjack this game. Everyone must follow the rules of the game. It is dishonorable in the spirit of the game not to do so. I know that this game is of value and worth. There is no big conspiracy here folks. Time to get back to the real Urgency of what other issues are going on. There are new people to help and inspire. I have gained from this experience and see that others have also. Lets get back to the task at hand. We have to respect the P.M.s of this game for with out them we would not be here altogether in this amazing project.

I do fully intend on finishing this game.

no one ever claimed a 'conspiracy'. i disagree with the lack of formal content rules, lack of transparency and lack of formal appeal option in the actions of the moderators. they work in silence and secrecy. such an environment creates a CHILLING EFFECT on FREE SPEECH.
Urgent Evoke can, by all means, continue with this course; it is 'their' game. my WISH is that they would open their minds and give us some TRANSPARENCY. i think there are merits to this game and that it is worth improving; otherwise i wouldn't bother trying to open discussion and i would just move completely over to Delta Team.
of course, in general, i HATE censorship. i have my personal reasons.

Personally, I think that the main issue with this entire trainwreck is that people have overspeculated and overthought the entire incident. First off, while the banning of a member for objectionable content might be a great conversation starter for the impermanence of digital material and topics relating to online censorship, this game isn't the forum for that. This game is an educational game. By disrupting the game as some have done today, you're taking away from others' educational experiences—something I'm sure that nobody likes. Plus, this is a moderated public forum—you can't say that it's unexpected that somewhere along the line, a member is going to get banned for objectionable content.
Second, why does everyone think that there is some "great conspiracy"? Why would EVOKE have any reason for banning a user like Sarah? The mods aren't out to get you and censor your radical ideas—to the contrary, I'm sure many of us would like to listen to your radical and innovative ideas. However, EVOKE is again not the correct forum. That combined with the posting of certain images was definitely enough to warrant (in my opinion) a "time out". When a time out happens, we're not asking you to forsake your ideas and make your life and ideals fit into a nice PG-13 mold—all we're doing is asking that your in game activities do. Feel free to do whatever you want and post whatever you want with whoever; just don't do it here on EVOKE.
That being said, please, let's put all of this behind us, work it out, and get back to the business of evoking. I'm sure we'd all be happy to carry out this discussion to its logical ends—just in a forum that respects the gameplay of the others not involved in this.

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
