A crash course in changing the world.
Trading has definately been a big part of my life as well as most people my age I would believe...
From a very young age we have understood the concept - I want to play with that toy and you want to play with mine, why don't we swap? Both of us are happy (usually). If I decided to just take the toy without asking, things would have been chaotic (and I would get in trouble). If I told the other person that I wanted their toy to play with and offered something in return they did not want, I would ask them if they want something else instead... As you can see this scene of two kindergarten children sharing (playing) are the signs of early trading.
Well even in High School me and my friends were trading goods - I don't like my lunch but love the look of yours... So we strike up a deal - a transaction if you will =)
Anyway these are stories from the past, the mission was to do something new so last night I gave internet banking a go... It is quite a strange feeling knowing that my money was actually moving to someone elses account without me ever seeing it! But I must say that I can definately see its appeal and will indeed do it again... but I will bring up from my last blog that I think that money will one day be not a physical object, but a digital illusion.
