A crash course in changing the world.
Of the five topics, I thought managing panic was the most interesting. I liked how it touched on the importance of how much trust the public has in you. If they don't trust you then they won't follow what you're trying to say in order to prevent panic.
Another important part of managing panic is the messages you send. If you are sending messages about things people aren't concerned about, then they won't listen to what you have to say. In order to reach out and communicate with people, you have to be touching on the issues they are focused on the most or else your message won't be heard/accepted.
In order to keep people calm in a pandemic, you have to communicate on their level!
