In my opinion, managing panic in a pandemic is the most important secret of crisis communication. First of all, Public Trust is a huge issue in order to maintain people and panic. If people don't trust you, they won't do what you tell them to do. Push technology is the act of pushing messages out to the public and if not done right can cause problems and be ineffective. One must choose a general way of media to push out the message, radio the best in my opinion, and make sure people understand how to handle and do what the message tells them. The most important concerns are safety for citizens, calming the public, connecting with the public and the public connecting with eachother, efficacy and hope. This is the most important thing to concern during crisis for if people are not acting rationally, all will go wrong.
