Every year we have at least one big panic. The matter will be made but only by the media to panic. Sure, the media must operate well. So they make their money. Many people are influenced by the media. I wrote about it in an older blog post of mine. An example of a panic would be the dioxin scandal this year. A manufacturer of fats has not abided by the rules. The media kill the topic, and a wh*** industry suffers, because no one has bought eggs and pork. Companies that have nothing to do with the scandall. But now they are brought into connection and have to fear for their existence. From insiders I know that at least half of the coverage was simply wrong.
Another example of no good reporting is the report about Hort Seehofer from the german "Spiegel ". The reader thinks that the reporter was at home with Horst Seehofer in the basement at the model train. This is not true. The reporter wanted the readers to let believe it.
I'm saying that the reporters have to write more carefully. Through the reporting should be no panic. I have referred to the following article:
