The phone
rings and Calum steps out of his energy efficient shower which will recycle the
water he has just used and will be ready to go within 20 minutes. He walks
across the house, picking up a towel and clothes produced entirely of Ingeo
fibres which are organically produced with a low effect on the environment yet possess all the same qualities of natural
cotton. As the telephone rings, Calum reflects that 85% of the materials in his
home must be Ingeo based, reducing his carbon foot print substantially, particularly
in conjunction with the LED lighting which illuminates his house at night and
is powered by soil microbes. These are all innovations which have been
perfected over the past ten years yet unfortunately only those countries who paid
attention to the warning signs have implemented them. Africa has been thriving
over the past five years as necessity saw such energy efficient solutions being
implemented, while the rest of the world chased their carbon based greed! Now
Calum’s telephone rings with persistence and it could only be Alchemy, another
fallen first world country must be in need of an urgent EVOKE!
