A crash course in changing the world.
Ten years from now, I will be a college student in
America . I will be working in a lab all day, trying to find a more
efficient way to produce energy.
I will also be a volunteer in Green Peace, to broadcast and educate people on ways to
prevent pollution, and to encourage them to get the habit of saving
energy by taking simple measures like turning off lights when leaving
the room, unplugging unused electronics and so on. Most importantly I
want to fight for laws against big companies dumping massive amounts of
garbage and causing almost totally undoable environmental problems.
One day I will find an affordable, ubiquitous and
environmentally friendly new way of producing and using energy. In the
meantime I will do my best to popularize solar, wind, current and such
natural ways of generating power.
Although it is already very late in the day to start
this, there is still hope. And I believe “when there is a will, there
is a way,” so come on everyone lets keep the world we know running.
P.S. Probably by 2020 we would all have voice
controlled lights, so people couldn’t use laziness as an excuse for not
turning lights off.(Just a thought. Because people are extremely lazy
and love to find excuses for it)
