A crash course in changing the world.
Following Gemma Bulos' example of spreading the word through music, I think that this would draw much attention to World Water Day in 2020.
A major city in each participating country would hold a music festival in the name of World Water Day... There will be famous singers and bands as well as local talents - a place for friends to camp out for a weekend of musical fun. As well as this there will be talks held informing people about water security and how we can help those who do not have it.
While staying together in an event similar to Parachute Festival ( www.parachutemusic.com ) campers will be required to walk a long (symbolic) distance in order to obtain drinking water and cleaning water. This will help show how important water really is and may cause people to see how lucky we are to be able to go to a tap. Games and competitions will be set up for entertainment for all ages.
The youth of society will be the main aim and to involve them thoroughly they will be able to nominate a certain amount of themselves to organise the event as well as helping design the logo for publicity.
