It has been proven that potatoes can be used to power some smaller electronic devices such as flash lights. My idea is to use this idea to power my portable razor I use every morning. While this does not seem to be a huge source of power saved, over time it would add up, as I use a charger for this device which is always plugged in, thus always using some small amount of power.
My idea would be to simply take a tube from an old flashlight to use as a cannister for my "battery". Among other items needed for this are a regular ten penny nail, and an every day penny. It would be as simple as putting these items together like in a high school science lab, then replacing the battery on my razor with this new one (may need some wiring work obviously).
