A crash course in changing the world.
My hero is my uncle Nick Harvey. He was a policeman in a place called Aramoana were this local gun fanatic named David Gray started going a bit crazy cause he thought everyone was against him and went on a rampage and killed 13 people, including many of my cousins (Nicks sons) friends. My uncle was going around and helping people and saving and hiding them from David Gray. There was this one little girl who was shot in the stomach and her guts and stuff were hanging out and Nick saved her life by shoving them back in, hiding her and getting medical help. He got a medal of honour afterwards. My uncle is now a truck-driver in Australia.
I write to him often and he comes to visit, but i don't think he knows he's my hero...
My other hero (one that is with me in my heart constantly) is The Doctor from the show Doctor Who. Though he is fictional, I learnt almost everything I know about history, life, love and loss from him. He taught me the greatest lessons in life. H eis my gurdian angel. The person who conforts me when I'm sad and helps me when I'm in need because all I have to do is think about him and everything is a little bit better.
