A crash course in changing the world.
This is a description I wrote of the position I want to be in ten years from now, reflected through a perfect day for me. It's the same answer that I gave for my motivation story because getting to this place is the reason I can get up and put effort in through the day.
In ten years I really hope I'll be financially stable, maintaining enough unaccounted-for time to pursue new projects, to travel and be involved with communities in many different areas. I'll be working at improving peoples’ lives in some way, preferably a job where I have to keep up with the goings-on in the world since that's something I love doing regardless of whether I *need* to. Most important of all I'll be doing something I'm PASSIONATE about.
Saturday. I'll wake up; it's exciting to think that I don't even know what country I'll be waking up in. Anyways, I'll wake up, get dressed and head to my favourite (in the area) little cafe in some nook of the city. I'll order a nice breakfast, maybe Eggs Benedict, and a piping hot coffee. Sitting (hopefully) in the sun I'll catch up on the news and events of the last couple of days.
Then I'll wander around, buy some nice tea and good locally produced ingredients. I'll be using them later to cook for a large group of people. There's nothing better than good company and the good food to go with it.
If I could make the day still more perfect I'd spend some of it meeting and working with people involved in some of my projects outdoors. I far prefer working in public spaces, cafes, a park, anything out amongst humanity rather than behind closed doors.
