Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

*Welcome to Evoke*

*If you need translation, please message me*

This is the new agent rest stop. Here is your chance to share what brought you here, where you have been, and where you are going. You could post about you community, and what you want to learn here to help, or tell us about world change you would like to be part of. You could give a quick overview of what you are doing in highschool, what have been working on since graduating college, or how your career has been. You can ask for help, offer help if you can, or just cool your heels before becoming an super agent. I know you can do it! Just think about who you are, and share with your fellow agents! The Evoke community is ready to listen! With your post here, you are saying "Hello World!" Lets hear what you got!

I want to first thank you for being so welcoming to new Evoke agents. I honestly was considering leaving Evoke after registering (it didn't seem too fun or community oriented) before I got an email saying you had sent a friend request to me, welcoming me in. You're the reason I didn't register and never sign in again. So, thanks.

I'm a 17 year old college student looking for something productive to do with my time.

So much here to learn my friend. Message me to share some of your interests, and I will share some of my resources I use online

community clustering always happens; human nature and all. i don't think that there is any intention to make people feel unwelcome.

sometimes it can be hard to take that first step. just start making blog posts and commenting on other people's works. i've found the community in general to be thoughtful and helpful.

i am very loud and obnoxious about social issues in real life, so it wasn't hard for me. i've been here 2 weeks now.

Great post, Gabriel; great name for it, too! I'm not a new agent, but I'll pause and chat for a moment anyway: I'm here because I believe we are inventing new ways to connect, and just in time too, because we are confronted by problems that can only be solved if we connect in new ways.

Agreed, Calida. So, to alll new users, heres a central theme of evoke, innovation and problem solving. Also, new users should definately check out Calida's blogs.

Hello new Evoke users! I am so glad that their are still people joining the network. I think it would be nice for some of us elder agents to pass on some advice to those just starting.

Here's mine: having trouble coming up with an idea for a blog post? Read what other agents posted and be inspired. Something that someone wrote may help you generate an idea for your own post.

Great idea Gabriel!
To any new agents: Send me a friend request and I'll make sure to read your latest posts! :-)

Thanks a lot cynawynn. Any others who care to offer moral support should definately post some stuff up! Or link to your own guides! Anything will help.

Hi Gabriel. Tnx for the warm welcome. The idea of Evoke seems very inspiring and it is up to us to make it work... And welcoming the new members is definitely important part of the process. As I work in the non-profit sector I have shared the idea of Evoke with my friends and contacts, hopefully others will join as well...So let's link up share and cooperate :) cheers!

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
