Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

NEXT STEP GLOBAL NETWORK OF COMMUNITY URBAN FARMS

Next Step- To build a team that will collaborate to build Community Urban Farms in every city
block in every city in the World.

Urban Farms in every city block in every city in the World. This Community Urban Farms will teach:

> Organic Urban Farming. Crops and techniques will change depending on weather and resources
available. It can mean permaculture, hydroponics, aquaponics, beekeeping, you name it. It all depends on
the context.

> Education. Depending on the context it can go from basic Literacy to advanced Computer Programing
(Could it be on those beautifully designed computers of One laptop Per Child?) Education in a broad sense in one community it can mean a class in storytelling the old stories of the region, in another one a cooking class, in another one a pottery class in another one it can mean a game design class in an other one a
math class or in another one education can mean a Capoeira class. One basic thing that I think should be taught in every Community Urban Farm is basic Human Rights.

It must be fun. If we are planning to improve the World and it´s not a fun one. Why even bother? As I
propose in my blog called "Salsa Dancing and Community" I propose that if you are working in any project
first start with a fun activity. Now I add keep it fun all the time. EVOKE works because it´s fun!!!

Food Security
This Community Urban Farms will build food security and resilience against natural disasters, emergencies, wars, raising cost of food and energetics.

Collaborate
Perhaps even more important than the food security this farms will provide it´s the fact that this Community Urban Farms will be a place to generate strong communities, a place to meet your neighbors, a place to
learn from the young and the elder. A place to learn skills needed based upon the necessities of each
community.

I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS. THE BEST WAY TO ANSER THEM IS PLAYING THIS
GAME:

Next Step- Community Urban Farms- The Game

This is called the "Let´s Collaborate to build a team that will build Community Urban Farms in
every city block in every city in the World GAME" Longest Game title ever huh?

This is a game inside the game (inside the game of life) - Following the EVOKE POWERS every
week you will complete a task related to the Community Urban Farms project.

You get 1 point for every answer:

"Collaboration- Build a strong team. Work together to achieve what it would be impossible to
achieve alone." EVOKE

To build a team that will collaborate to build Community Urban Farms in every city block in every city in the World. Sounds impossible enough?
Then lets Collaborate and really achieve what it seems impossible to achieve alone!!! I have actually more
questions than answers. For this project I´m gonna need help from everyone in the World, literally. We
need to build a team with experienced people from EVOKE and from outside too.
Do you have the Courage?

1 point. Collaborate. Your name here: ________________________________ That was the easiest point ever huh?

PS- We went from what it seems as an impossible task to the easiest point you ever had in a game :-)

I agree Patricio, thats what I'm trying to do with the Global Gratitude Gardens - create a database or local, landrace and heirloom seeds as well as culturally and environmentally friendly growing tactics. Coupled, of course, with actual gardens. Its not quite as ambitious as a garden on every block... I'd be happy with a garden in every country, or every climate, but I'm trying to come up with practical steps to get there.

Our ideas are definitely compatible, mine is a bit more specific in one regard (seed security) and less specific in the other (doesn't have to be urban). I'm sure we'll be able to figure something out, gardens everywhere is a great idea, but whats in the garden and safeguarding our cultural and dietary heritage is what I'm concerned with...

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
